Where The Messages Go - Tropfest Film
Drama | 7min | 2026
This was my first major directing and editing project since graduating university, and I entered it into Tropfest, where it was proudly preselected. In post-production, I approached the edit as the film’s emotional backbone, using pacing, rhythm, and transitions to shape an immersive and intimate viewing experience. I focused on creating a highly cinematic tone through bold colour grading, recurring hourglass visual motifs, and expressive sequencing that enhances the film’s thematic depth. The editing process incorporated layered sound design, seamless match cuts, and stylised timing to amplify atmosphere and tension. I also experimented with special effects, SFX elements, and integrated found footage captured on a camcorder to further immerse the audience and give the piece a raw yet poetic authenticity.

Where’d All The Men Go?
Drama | 4m | 2023
During my first year of university, I had the opportunity to edit this short film (excluding sound design), which was a highly rewarding experience. I especially enjoyed creating the special effects and detailed masking work, as it challenged me to develop my technical skills while strengthening the film’s visual storytelling. This project gave me the confidence to experiment creatively and bring the director’s vision to life. 'Where’d All The Men Go?' is a period short film set in the 1920s that explores a man’s internal struggle as he confronts his identity, societal expectations, and internalised homophobia. I worked on this project as both editor and assistant director, and also made a brief cameo appearance. As the protagonist spirals between self-doubt and self-discovery, the film examines the rigid, socially constructed roles imposed on both men and women of the era. Through this deeply personal journey, Where’d All The Men Go? offers a thought-provoking exploration of identity, masculinity, and the limitations of gender roles in early 20th-century society.

Editing Competitions

I've also had the opportunity to participate in editing competitions, one of the most exciting being for Jeep Australia's Avenger dealers promotional video. I'm thrilled to share that my entry was selected as the winner!🎉 Although I'm unable to release the full video publicly due to permission restrictions, I can share a still image as a glimpse from the project.
Commercial Edits

I was hired by @ttravelux on Instagram to edit a recent project, which was later posted on his page and is now being used by Amora Hotel for advertising. It’s a travel lifestyle video promoting a five-star luxury hotel, designed to highlight the property’s unique features and premium guest experience. The final edit not only boosted engagement on social media but also became a key visual asset for the hotel’s marketing campaign, showcasing my ability to deliver high-quality content for luxury brands.
Music Videos
I have recently begun producing music videos for emerging artists, taking on a fully integrated creative role throughout the entire process. This includes directing the overall concept and visual narrative, filming the footage using my own professional camera equipment, and completing all post-production editing myself. My editing process is highly hands-on and detail-driven. I personally manage every stage of post-production, including selecting and sequencing footage, colour grading to achieve a consistent cinematic look, refining transitions, and synchronising visuals precisely to the music. I also incorporate sound design elements, visual effects, and pacing techniques to enhance emotion and storytelling, ensuring the final video feels polished, engaging, and aligned with the artist’s identity.
Live Sporting Events

I began developing my skills in filming and editing live sporting events, combining fast-paced camera work with dynamic post-production to capture the energy of competition. My first client in this area was Empire Muay Thai, who hired me to film and edit content for their fight day event, Siam2Syd 2025. This experience introduced me to the demands of live event coverage and strengthened my ability to create engaging highlight videos under tight timeframes.
Sports Highlights

I have also been hired by American clients to create sports highlight reels showcasing their strongest performances and key moments. These reels are designed to support athletes in presenting their abilities to coaches and recruiters, helping them pursue opportunities to be signed by their preferred teams. Through this work, I have developed experience in crafting fast-paced, impactful edits that effectively communicate athletic skill and potential.

Travel Edits

In addition to client work, I’ve also been creating my own travel vlogs, including two recent projects filmed during my trip to Singapore. These vlogs gave me the opportunity to hone my storytelling abilities—using dynamic editing techniques, thoughtful color grading, and carefully crafted pacing to immerse viewers in the experience. Each video captures the unique energy, culture, and atmosphere of the locations visited, transforming raw travel moments into visually compelling narratives. Through the strategic use of music, transitions, and narrative flow, I was able to produce polished, social-media-ready content that not only entertains but also resonates emotionally with audiences across different platforms.
