Film Editing
I began my creative journey in 2018 by editing fan-made videos of my favorite movies, gradually building a dedicated online audience of over 56k followers across Instagram and TikTok. What started as a passion for storytelling and visual design quickly evolved into freelance opportunities, as brands and creators began reaching out for professional video editing work. Over time, I’ve gained extensive experience editing a diverse range of content—including lifestyle, travel, and music videos—and have developed advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premiere Pro. My expertise spans color grading, motion graphics, and crafting visually compelling, polished videos that balance creativity with technical precision, all while meeting tight deadlines. I’ve completed freelance projects for luxury hotels, travel brands, and small businesses, producing high-quality, social-first content that resonates with audiences and elevates each client’s brand presence. My degree in Media and Communications, majoring in Screen Practice and Production, has further strengthened my storytelling skills and taught me how to strategically grow and engage online communities. Luxury Hotel Escape Edit: Travelux x Amora Hotel
I was hired by @ttravelux on Instagram to edit a recent project, which was later posted on his page and is now being used by Amora Hotel for advertising. It’s a travel lifestyle video promoting a five-star luxury hotel, designed to highlight the property’s unique features and premium guest experience. The final edit not only boosted engagement on social media but also became a key visual asset for the hotel’s marketing campaign, showcasing my ability to deliver high-quality content for luxury brands.
Travel Edits
In addition to client work, I’ve also been creating my own travel vlogs, including two recent projects filmed during my trip to Singapore. These vlogs gave me the opportunity to hone my storytelling abilities—using dynamic editing techniques, thoughtful color grading, and carefully crafted pacing to immerse viewers in the experience. Each video captures the unique energy, culture, and atmosphere of the locations visited, transforming raw travel moments into visually compelling narratives. Through the strategic use of music, transitions, and narrative flow, I was able to produce polished, social-media-ready content that not only entertains but also resonates emotionally with audiences across different platforms.
Editing Competitions
I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in editing competitions, one of the most exciting being for Jeep Australia’s Avenger dealers promotional video—and I’m thrilled to share that my entry was selected as the winner! 🎉 Although I’m unable to release the full video publicly due to permission restrictions, I can share a still image as a glimpsefrom the project.
Editing Short Films
During my first year of university, I had the opportunity to edit this short film (with the exception of sound design), and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I particularly enjoyed working on the special effects and intricate masking techniques, which challenged me to push my editing skills further while enhancing the visual storytelling of the piece. This project not only helped me refine my technical abilities but also gave me the confidence to experiment creatively with timing and effects to bring the director’s vision to life.
